Responsible for the Project Management of a technical, multi-vendor, systems integration project involving the design, procurement and implementation of a below ground DAS radio Project.. Use project management practices and tools to plan, schedule, coordinate and deliver multi-faceted projects on time and under budget. Communicate directly with customer and internal project teams to facilitate positive, productive relationships. Support and supervise staff, sub-vendors and contractors. Develop and monitor project management processes through design, proposal, procurement and implementation ensuring timely progress, safety and quality control. Coordinate 3rd party equipment/systems engineering, logistics, manufacturing, installation and testing activities. Use standard Project Management practices to plan, track and deliver high quality projects on time and under budget.
Develop and maintain project estimates, CPM schedules and work plans to track and report progress to program management. Provide coordination and management of Field Supervision, Subcontractors, Vendors and Customer Representatives.
Technical knowledge and skills are those normally achieved through a BS in Engineering, Construction Management and related disciplines and /or equivalent. Applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management field. Knowledge and work experience with DAS Radio Communications systems a must, experience in the public safety radio communications field a plus. Demonstrated competency and familiarity with the Project Management Tools including, CPM scheduling systems, Job Estimating and Job Cost Accounting practices required. PMP certification (or similar) a must.
