Responsible for the Schedule development and management of a technical, multi-vendor, systems integration project involving the design, procurement and implementation of a regional radio communications system project. Use project management practices and tools to plan, schedule, coordinate and deliver CPM Schedules and Narrative Reports to the program management team. Communicate directly with internal and external project team members to facilitate initial schedule development and schedule updates. Utilize Primavera P6 for base schedule and job cost earned analysis reporting.
Develop and maintain overall project CPM schedule, milestone plans and sub-net schedules to include resources and cost loading. Prepare monthly written narrative reports addressing progress, critical path(s), delays and corrective actions. Prepare change order analysis and claim presentations as required.
Technical knowledge and skills are those normally achieved through a BS in Engineering, Construction Management and related disciplines and /or equivalent. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Scheduling field. Knowledge and work experience with construction a must, experience in the public safety radio communications field a plus. Demonstrated competency and familiarity with the Project Management Tools including, P6 CPM scheduling systems, Job Estimating and Job Cost Accounting practices required. PMI or ACE scheduling certification a plus.
