Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Bookkeeper to join our client’s team in Baltimore City, MD. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records for our manufacturing operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management. In addition, they will work closely with our manufacturing and accounting teams to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards and to provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management
  • Provide accurate financial reporting monthly, including management and financial institutions
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with month-end/year-end closing
  • GL and bank account reconciliations
  • Work closely with operations and accounting teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records
  • Manage and reconcile inventory records, and assist in inventory management as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience involving Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not necessary
