Construction Superintendent
We seek a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Our sectors of work include restaurants, retail, hospitality, offices, and buildings. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages all job site functions, taking responsibility for overall project management from inception to final acceptance, including all onsite planning, organization, and control of work in the field.
- Provides excellent customer service
- Responsible for supervision and coordination of subcontractors on a day-to-day basis with the desired intent to make each trade as productive as possible while ensuring safe job site conditions
- Manages and monitors the work of all subcontractors
- Maintains excellent communication with their PM, A.P.M., Subcontractors, and Customers
- Coordinates material deliveries and site inspections
- Creates job schedule, particularly a 2-week look ahead
- Documents all activities through Procore, including daily reports, safety reports, etc.
- Participates in weekly progress meetings
- Completes required documentation of project progression
- Maintains high-quality control of the project
- Ability to understand and enforce safety daily, including identifying faulty or damaged equipment to avoid accidents, fall protection, P.P.E. for any persons on site (whether working or visiting)
- Daily housekeeping, keeping restroom facilities clean, professional appearance of job site both inside and out. PERCEPTION IS KEY
- Enforce no alcohol or drug usage on the job site by any subcontractor, employee, or vendor.
- Possess the ability to multi-task, follow up, and follow through with all emails, phone conversations, or order workforce materials about your involvement in our project.
- To be solution-oriented- when a problem is identified on a project, the Superintendent does their best to have a solution to submit when reporting the issue.
- Complete all required company paperwork, such as daily reports, safety reports, two-week lookaheads, timesheets, and AMEX reports, and turn them in on or before the specified due dates.
- Turn in clear, concise weekly pictures depicting job progression, at least 10 per week.
- To have the ability to visualize job progression 2 to 4 weeks in advance
- Notify P.M. immediately when subcontractors are understaffed, repeatedly missing two-week lookahead goals, or having no men on site on any given day.
- Document everything.
- Always lead by example.
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Punctual, arriving 30 minutes before subcontractors and staying 30 minutes after they leave
- Proficient with reading, understanding, and interpreting plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documents
- Excellent communication skills
- Be solution oriented
- Detail and safety-oriented
- Consistently maintains a professional appearance during work hours
- Willingness to work additional hours or weekends as necessary to meet job schedule
- Ability to work with hand tools and operate man lifts or heavy equipment
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Commercial Construction experience
- Ground Construction experience desired
- OSHA 30
- First Aid & C.P.R. Certification
- MS Office 365
- Procore
