Project Manager / Electrician

Our client, a commercial and residential electrical contracting company, has an opportunity to be a Commercial Project Manager at the Annapolis location. This position is open due to the growth of the business and recent contract wins. The successful candidate will have five to seven years of experience in the electrical Industry, at least four years of PM experience, and experience managing projects above $500K.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing Commercial projects.

· Ordering and buying materials needed for the project.

· Interpret and understand drawings and specifications needed for project completion

· Managing project schedules and meeting deadlines and milestones.

· Manage workforce needs for all projects and adjust workforce as needed with the commercial division team to ensure proper coverage on jobs to meet schedules and company milestones.

· Coordinate with General Contractors for job site needs

· Manage all closeout procedures.

· Develop and maintain a network of Professional relationships within the Industry.

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the Electrical Project Manager as needed.

· Candidate shall have the ability to manage jobs over $500k

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Candidate must have at least four years of prior Project Management experience and at least seven years of experience in the Electrical Industry.

· Master Electricians are a bonus but not required

· Prior Project Management with Estimator experience is a bonus

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer estimating programs; experience with Procore is a plus.

· Candidates must have a VALID Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record

· Must pass EOE Testing and background check
