Trainer – Leader
We have an opportunity for a Lead Trainer to work on-site in NC and then deploy to Saudia Arabia to support an ongoing program. In this role, you will provide leadership and vision for the ongoing planning, development, implementation, review, direction, and evaluation of the CONUS and OCONUS training curriculum. The Lead Technical Training Facilitator will supervise the training staff, coordinate training needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of training courses and facilitators. Will lead the effort to modify course content based on customer requirements, including industry/customer technical documentation, feedback, course evaluation results, and observation. The Lead Technical Training Facilitator will also coordinate course updates with the Lead Curriculum Developer. Facilitate training classes on advanced military equipment as needed.
Travel: This person would spend several months In Elizabeth City, NC, followed by approximately 11 months in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Major Work Responsibilities:
- Manage the training facilitation efforts.
- Direct the daily activities of specialists and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Lead a team responsible for technical training.
- Develop methods and techniques to support organizational goals and objectives of the training curriculum.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to address client needs, including the Program Manager (PM), General Manager (GM), Contract Office Representative (COR), Lead Field Service Representative (FSR), and Site Lead.
- Lead training schedule development and resource management.
- Create and manage training budgets.
- Observe facilitators for adherence to facilitation best practices and content accuracy, and provide feedback/guidance to the technical training team, including facilitation techniques to improve student knowledge transfer.
- Follow ADDIE to modify training products and instructional materials according to TRADOC standards.
- Conducted quality assurance (QA) on training materials revisions.
- Coordinate course updates with the Lead Curriculum Developer.
- Ensure training methods, content, software, systems, and equipment are appropriate for training needs.
- Manage training classrooms/labs, including securing facilitator and student materials.
- Develop laboratory procedures to support lecture content.
- Verify procedures and content of training presentations and technical manuals.
- Facilitate classes containing both lecture and laboratory sessions.
- Travel as required.
Supporting Work Responsibilities:

- Interview engineers, field support specialists, and other trainers or Instructors
- Write and revise technical training materials
- Review engineering specifications and design review documents
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Review Field Modification and Field Change notices
Interacting With Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with graphics tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as Solid Works is a plus
- Familiarity with computer-based training authoring tools is a plus
Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, and students — Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Communicating effectively with students via group lectures, small group informal exchanges, and one-on-one
- Confer with engineering, technical managers, manufacturing, or field support personnel

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical Engineering field, or equivalent work experience. Related military training and/or experience is a plus. Instructor certification is a plus.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of seven years of experience, including technical training, the development and conduct of technical training classes, and experience working with field personnel. Minimum of three years of leadership experience.
Other Requirements: Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and an active U.S. Passport.
