VP of Operations

Our client is looking for a VP of Operations to lead, manage, and improve our internal business, which will allow our client to meet and exceed the needs of its stakeholders. This position will be an integral part of our leadership team. An excellent VP of Operations will empower employees to ensure our products are made with pride. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional who continually challenges themself. The goal is to ensure the high quality of our operations and services, aiming for the long-term success of our business. This position will report to the COO and CEO.


  • Devise procedures, policies, and other documents to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
  • Manages Operations and Quality management staff.
  • Communicate and enforce compliance with laws, regulations, and applicable standards.
  • Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
  • Analyze and improve laboratory processes, design, configuration, and mechanization to create a more effective and efficient operation.
  • Oversee the implementation of new processes, CMOs, and White labels.
  • Establish vendor/supplier relationships and maintain communication for needs.
  • Communicate with upper management to ensure all requirements regarding operations and quality are met.
  • Assist in completing FDA, state, and governing body registrations.
  • Collaborate with management personnel to recruit, hire, train, and develop new employees.
  • Effectively manage preventative programs, schedules, repairs, production, and distribution.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Create new job descriptions for positions and review existing job descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations, audits, documentation
  • Tissue processing to make ocular grafts, allografts, triple layer amniotic grafts with Chorion, Amniotic powder, amniotic liquid
  • Develop SOPs and FDA-required documents
  • Demonstrate active leadership by creating a positive, accountable, and dynamic work environment.


  • Proven experience as a vice president of operations or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality, operations, controls, laws, regulations, and standards
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Good knowledge of cGMP and cGTP regulations along with MS Office and databases
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrates leadership in managing staff, departments, significant projects, or initiatives
